(CLARKSVILLE) - At least two people were killed in a house fire early Wednesday morning in Clarksville, Indiana.
Around 5:30 a.m. emergency dispatch received a report of a house fire in the 400 block of Randolph Avenue off Browns Station Way in Clarksville. According to emergency personnel, a passerby noticed smoke in the area and called 911.
Clarksville Fire Chief Tom Upton confirmed two people died in the fire and they are looking for a third person. They cannot confirm whether anyone made it out of the house alive.
The portion of Randolph Avenue around the house is blocked off between Browns Station and Brooks Avenue. Traffic is being rerouted.
