(JASPER) - A Dubois County man is in critical condition following a fight at a bar in Jasper early Saturday morning.
Police say they received a call for an ambulance about 3 a.m. outside J.R.'s Bar. When police and EMS arrived on scene, they found 41-year-old Timothy Ray Stafford of Dubois, lying on the ground outside the bar, unresponsive and not breathing.
Stafford was taken to Memorial Hospital in Jasper, then flown to St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville where he is in critical condition.
Police say their investigation found that Stafford had gotten into a physical altercation outside the bar with 23-year-old Leslie M. Osborn, Jr. and 22-year-old Zachary Parks of Petersburg. Anyone with more information is being asked to call (812) 482-2255 and speak with Det. Sgt. Rick Chambers of the Jasper Police Department.
