(JENNINGS CO.) - Authorities in Jennings County need your help identifying a suspect in a daytime burglary and theft that happened at Graham Creek Farms around 7:30 Wednesday morning.
Maj. Jerry Shepherd says the office located next to a home on State Road 3 near Commiskey was burglarized by someone who took several guns and $300 in cash.
Deputies have identified the suspect's vehicle as a blue or blue/gray Honda Civic with a temporary Indiana license plate that had an expiration of 11/2013. The vehicle was noticed by several people parked on County Road 800 S just south of the Graham Creek Elementary School.
Shepherd says evidence at the scene led officers across the field from where the vehicle was parked to the building where the burglary happened. Investigators were able to collect evidence during the investigation along with a video that was taken by the victim's security system.
