(COLUMBUS) - Cummins Inc. is making a big announcement at the Railway Interchange Show in Indianapolis.
The Republic reports that the first QSK95-powered locomotive will begin commercial service operation with the Indiana Rail Road Company.
It will be owned and operated in Indiana and is set to launch by mid-2014.
It will be one of the first engines powering a locomotive that is ready to meet EPA Tier 4 ultra-low emissions regulations.
