(INDIANAPOLIS) - Former U.S. Sen. Evan Bayh is joining a Middle East think tank in Washington.
The Washington Institute for Near East Policy announced Monday that the former Indiana governor and U.S. senator will join a small group of new advisers. The Fort Wayne Journal-Gazette reports the new advisers include former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, former U.S. Sen. Joe Lieberman and Retired Marine Corps Gen. John Allen.
The think tank called Bayh a "centrist voice on intelligence and national security issues" during his time in the Senate.
