(UNDATED) - David Camm has released a statement, addressed to his friends and supporters, on the Free David Camm Facebook page.
The statement was posted by his uncle, Sam Lockhart, but states it was penned by Camm.
The statement comes after Camm was acquitted of the Sept. 28, 2000 murders of his wife and two children earlier this month.
It reads in part, quote:
"God had moved a mountain and he saved me (using lots of instrumental people of course) then as I sat there with all those wonderful thoughts running through my mind, I cried for about ten minutes. No one around, just me and my thoughts and the good and gracious god who made it all happen. I am a blessed man."
"At this time the loss of my beautiful wife Kim, my son Brad and my daughter Jill is something I will have to leave to later as I can't bear to write the words now. Thank you"
The letter is signed David, Kim, Brad and Jill.
Camm spent 11 years in prison before he was found not guilty by a jury in Boone County during his third murder trial.
