(VANDERBURG CO.) - The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office says an Evansville man was injured Tuesday afternoon when his pick-up truck was hit by a train on a private drive just off State Road 57.
Authorities say 51-year-old James William Watkins suffered non life threatening injuries and was taken to Saint Mary's Hospital.
Watkins said he did not see or hear the train coming as he crossed the tracks and was struck by the train.
