(EVANSVILLE) - An Evansville woman is on trial this week for murder.
The jury has been selected for the trial of Megan Mecum. Mecum is charged in the 2012 death of her estranged husband, Keith Vaughn.
Mecum listened as a detective described the crime scene, even holding up two knives thought to be the murder weapons.
Mecum broke down in tears when photos of the scene were shown to the jury.
An officer who processed the scene testified that there was no forced entry into the house where Vaughn's body was found.
Prosecutors believe Mecum gave a key to her home to two men so they could kill her estranged husband.
Officials say those two men Hubert Mayhugh and James Mayhugh have already been found guilty for their involvement in the case.
More witnesses in the case will testify Tuesday.
