(DUBOIS CO.) - A Huntingburg man was arrested after deputies say he stole a vehicle.
WFIE reports that the Dubois County Sheriff's Office says that on Saturday, around 10 p.m., deputies were dispatched to 2984 W. 900 S in Huntingburg about a 1992 Ford Bronco that was just stolen.
Deputies found the vehicle west of US 231 on County Road 900 S.
The Sheriff's Office says 19-year-old Wesley Meyer was behind the driver's seat and appeared to be unresponsive.
Deputies were able to wake him up. They say Meyer then became very agitated and was combative while officers were attempting to take him into custody.
A Taser was used and deputies were able to get Meyer handcuffed.
Deputies say they found a suspected marijuana pipe on Meyer during a search. They say Meyer had also been drinking and tested .22% on a breath test.
Meyer was arrested for the following charges:
Motor Vehicle Theft - D Felony
Resisting Law Enforcement - A Misdemeanor
Possession of Paraphernalia - A Misdemeanor
Minor Consuming - C Misdemeanor
Unlawful Entry of a motor vehicle - B Misdemeanor
Disorderly Conduct - B Misdemeanor
He was booked into jail without further incident and posted bond on Sunday.
