(COLUMBUS) - A Columbus man was arrested Thursday on charges that he robbed a bank in Louisville.
Major Todd Noblitt with the Bartholomew County Sheriff's Department says 37-year-old Frank Martin, Jr. was wanted for questioning.
At 3 p.m., local authorities were asked to begin looking for Martin's black Cadillac. Noblitt says that local authorities began searching for the vehicle while staking out Martin's Petersville home and other locations he was believed to have frequented.
At 4 p.m., Indiana State Police detectives radioed that they believed they located Martin. At 4:30 p.m., Martin was confronted in the parking lot of Eastbrook Plaza. Louisville detectives arrived shortly thereafter and, at 7:30 p.m., arrested Martin on a warrant out of Jefferson County, KY.
Authorities believe Martin may be a suspect in string of burglaries in the Louisville area.
