(INDIANAPOLIS) - The state’s first winter storm of the season has moved out East and away from Indiana, taking with it the snow for at least a couple of days.
But, in its place, came bitter cold.
In some areas of Central Indiana, the actual temperature dropped to zero, which is the coldest recorded temperature in three years (since February, 2011).
Weather authorities suggest Hoosiers not only dress appropriately for the frigid single-digit actual and wind-chill temperatures -- but also to make sure you carry an extra coat, gloves, and even a blanket in your car, should you get stuck.
