Evansville Fire Truck Gets in Accident During Run

(EVANSVILLE) - An Evansville fire truck was involved in an accident while responding to a fire.

The accident happened at the intersection of Lincoln and Kentucky on Saturday morning.

Authorities say the truck was responding to a fire on Lincolnwood Drive when it collided with a car.

The driver of the car was taken to St. Mary's.

The Evansville firefighter driving the truck was taken to Deaconess Hospital.

Both are said to have non-life threatening injuries.
