(INDIANAPOLIS) - A man charged in a series of October home invasions and a murder now faces charges in a separate case.
Adrian Anthony is charged with attempted robbery, robbery and criminal confinement for a Nov. 19 incident on the north side in which he threatened to shoot a baby after approaching two women and their children in the parking lot of an apartment complex, prosecutors said.
According to court documents, Anthony said, "Give me all you got or I'm going to shoot you and your baby." According to prosecutors, he then hit one of the women in the head. She lost consciousness and fell while holding the child.
The victims told investigators Anthony fired a single shot into the air. Police recovered a spent shell casing from the scene-they later matched the same gun to the fatal shooting of Robbie Gibson on North Gray Street.
Police arrested Anthony on Dec. 1 after a short pursuit that followed a minor traffic violation. At the time, he was wanted in connection with October home invasions on Spring Mill Road and East 79th Street.
