(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indianapolis Metro Police say a juvenile was shot at a house on the northwest side overnight.
Police got the call just before midnight. When they arrived at the house in the 3400 block of Aylesford Lane, they found a 13-year-old boy had been shot. The teen was taken to Riley Hospital.
Detectives believe there was a house party at this location with a large amount of juveniles. At some point earlier in the evening, there was a disturbance at the party and some of the juveniles were forced to leave. As the juveniles were leaving someone outside fired shots at the house. At least one of those shots went into the house and stuck the 13-year-old.
Detectives have interviewed multiple witnesses and a suspect description is still being developed.
The victim is in critical condition.
