(INDIANAPOLIS) - A Carmel based company is expected to make an economic development announcement this morning that promises thousands of jobs.
Mainstreet Inc. has expansion plans for 2014-2016. Officials say the expansion will have an estimated economic impact of nearly $3 billion.
Company officials plan to make the announcement at their latest medical resort development at Arlington Place Health Campus near the Raytheon plant site in Indianapolis.
The health campus will open later this month and they plan to employ about 125 people in high-paying health care and management jobs at that site.
Officials say Mainstreet's three-year plan will make it one of the state's largest economic development engines.
