(INDIANAPOLIS) - A jury found an Indianapolis man guilty of murder on Wednesday.
De'Merius Shaw was arrested in Jan. 2012 for the murder and robbery of Levita Dorsey.
During the course of the investigation detectives had identified him as a person of interest. At the time of the incident, he had an open warrant out of St. Joseph County, Indiana for murder.
When Shaw was apprehended, police recovered a semi-automatic handgun. It was later determined that weapon fired the bullet that killed Dorsey.
Shaw was arrested on murder and robbery charges. Wednesday, he was found guilty of murder. His sentencing date has not been set.
