(INDIANAPOLIS) - The State of Indiana has sold its airplane.
Selling price was $1.8 million dollars which is above the asking price.
The state says the money will be used for Indiana State Police safety programs.
The 2001 Beechcraft Super King Air B200 twin-turbine aircraft was sold Jan. 30 to Florida-based American Aviation for $134,000 more than the state Department of Administration sought for it.
The Florida business offers flight classes and airplane repairs.
