(ATTICA) - A suspected natural gas explosion damaged an Attica church Tuesday morning, officials said.
Joe Whitaker, director of Fountain County Emergency Management, said authorities believe the explosion -- at a church on Perry Street -- was caused by natural gas, but that has not been completely confirmed.
Whitaker said one person was in the church but was able to escape unharmed.
