(BEECH GROVE) - Police apprehended three people Thursday morning in Beech Grove after a brief car chase, crash and foot chase.
Investigators said the chase originated at roughly 10:15 a.m. at the Village Pantry at 3131 E. Troy Avenue in Beech Grove.
An officer said he saw a car that looked suspicious, but when he tried to stop the vehicle, it sped off.
The car was followed by police west on Troy and then north on Shelby Street into a neighborhood near Raymond and Shelby streets.
There, police said the car smashed into a parked car. The car was reportedly found in the 1500 block of East Kelly Street.
The three people in the car ran, but were apprehended a short time later with the help of Indianapolis police officers.
Police said the car they were driving was stolen on Feb. 14 in Beech Grove.
No one was hurt in the chase.
None of the three people in the car has been identified by investigators.
