(NEW ALBANY) - Authorities have charged three more people in connection to a fatal New Albany house fire.
Floyd County Prosecutor Keith Henderson has filed charges against 19-year-old Kylie L. Jenks and 18-year-old Shelby Makowsky along with an unnamed 17- year-old girl.
The three face one count of conspiracy to commit arson after an investigation showed they were in the car with Cody Cashion when he fired a flare into a New Albany home, starting a fire that killed three children and seriously injured a fourth.
Henderson feels they are all responsible, but says the main burden lies on Cashion.
If convicted, the three face 20 to 50 years in prison.
