(UNDATED) - The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Central and Northern Indiana.
Meteorologist Jason Puma says it takes effect late Saturday night and runs through the day Sunday and ends Monday morning.
Puma says expect significant snowfall. He says accumulation could be six inches or more. He says Vincennes, Bedford, Columbus and Bloomington may see some sleet. Southern Indiana may see more of a mixed bag of precipitation.
Puma says so far this winter, Central Indiana has seen 52.3 inches of snow which breaks a previous record of about 50 inches for the months of December, January and February.
