(NEW YORK) - Microsoft founder Bill Gates has reclaimed the number one spot on Forbes’ list of the top 50 billionaires.
Gates' fortune rose by $9 billion in the past year, making his total worth $76 billion.
Mexican telecom mogul Carlos Slim Helu, who held the top spot for the last four years, is number two. He's worth $72 billion.
Spanish clothing retailer Amancio Ortega is number three at $64 billion.
Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett is number four at $58.2 billion.
Larry Ellison, the CEO and founder of Oracle, rounds out the top five. He's worth $48 billion.
Forbes says Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg was the biggest dollar gainer. His fortune jumped from $15.2 billion to $28.5 billion as shares of his social network soared. Zuckerberg is 21st on the list.
