(UNDATED) - The latest wave of snow in central Indiana proved to be not as bad as the previous storms.
INDOT crews had most of the roadways cleared until the second wave of snow hit.
Spokesman Nathan Riggs says crews were working in 12-hour shifts to keep the roads clear. However, a slippery mix of freezing rain, snow and other icy winter conditions caused some problems in southern Indiana.
Slick roads caused many traffic accidents. Several counties throughout the region issued travel advisories.
