(UNDATED) - We all know it costs a lot to drive our cars or pick-ups these days, thanks to the high cost of fuel. And even if we have fuel-efficient little cars, we all want to get even better mileage.
Greg Seiter is the spokesman for the AAA Hoosier Motor Club. He says one way to improve your mileage is to plan ahead so that when you're out running errands, you only have to make one trip instead of three.
Seiter says to change oil regularly, make sure tire pressure is correct, use regular gas unless your driver's manual requires premium, and strictly avoid jack-rabbit starts and slamming on your brakes.
