(UNDATED) - Funeral services are planned Thursday for two teens killed in a weekend crash in Boone County.
Jacob Shockley and Richard Penny Jr., both 18, died Sunday after their car left the road and slammed into a tree. Sheriff's officials say excessive speed was a factor.
The cause of death for both young men was blunt force trauma.
Penny recently graduated from Western Boone Junior/Senior High School. Shockley was a senior at the same school.
