(HAMMOND) - The legal woes for a former Indianapolis financier in federal prison for a $200 million investment fraud continue to mount.
A federal judge recently ordered Tim Durham, who grew up in Seymour, to pay $1 million over the disputed auction of a 1930 Duesenberg automobile.
Chief Judge Phillip P. Simon ruled on March 10 that Durham owes the money to a Michigan couple from the car's 2009 auction at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum. Simon sits on the bench of U.S. District Court, Northern Indiana Division, at Hammond.
