(INDIANAPOLIS) - People who are hard of hearing may soon be able to experience the sound of shows at Butler’s Clowes Memorial Hall.
The concert hall has installed a system called the buttkicker for a trial run during this weekend's shows with Blue Man Group.
The system converts bass tones to vibrations that audience members receive in their seats.
Bands use the technology to monitor sound on stage without causing feedback, but it's believed to be the first time the buttkicker's been used for musical theater.
