(INDIANAPOLIS) - A former Indianapolis radio host faces charges for allegedly stealing the identities of four family members.
Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller announced charges against Kelli Jack-Kelly on Tuesday. She was arrested Monday and is currently being held at the Marion County Jail.
The alleged activity started in 2007. Zoeller says all of the alleged victims all live in Anderson.
The Indiana Attorney General's Identity Theft Unit worked with Madison County Prosecutor Rodney Cumming's office and the Anderson Police Department on the case.
Zoeller says identity theft is far from being a "victimless crime. The financial and emotional toll it takes on victims can be profound and the process of picking up the pieces can take years."
Jack-Kelly faces four counts of identity deception and eight counts of fraud - all of which are Class D felonies carrying a penalty range of six months to three years. Charges were filed in the Madison County Circuit Court 5 on April 8 and Jack-Kelly was arrested on Monday with a bond set at $10,000.
