(GREENFIELD) - Police Lieutenant Terry Austin was arrested over the week-end and faces bribery and misconduct charges.
Court documents show the Greenfield policeman offered fellow officers an expensive steak dinner if they'd pull over his ex-wife for a traffic violation.
McCordsville Officer Nathan Garner told investigators Austin made the offer over the phone after sending text messages with his ex-wife's driving status information.
Austin allegedly said he'd give Garner a description of his ex-wife's vehicle and an approximate time of when she would leave for work.
