(JENNINGS CO.) - A Jennings County man was arrested on one count of murder Friday night in connection with the suspected drug overdose death of his wife.
33-year-old Jeremy Jackson of North Vernon was booked into the Jennings County Jail at 6:15 p.m. on charges of murder, dealing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine, according to jail records.
Jennings County Prosecutor Alan Marshall said Sunday afternoon that his office had not yet received a report on the case from the Jennings County Sheriff's Department and could offer little comment on the investigation.
