(ANDERSON) - An Anderson mother was arrested Wednesday after police officials said she slammed a gun on a table during a conference at a school.
The arrest was on a preliminary charge of possessing a firearm on school property.
Anderson police officials said 27-year-old Bonnie Trahan brought the gun to St. Mary's School for a morning meeting with school officials about her child being bullied. During the talk, she reportedly took the gun out and slammed it on a table. Then, she left the school.
No one was injured and police quickly tracked Trahan down. She's cooperating with police.
