(EDGEWOOD) - An off-duty police officer is facing drunk driving charges following a fatal crash over the weekend.
Madison County Sheriff's deputies say 41-year-old James Foutch struck the rear end of a car. The collision pushed the vehicle off the road and into a utility pole, killing 23-year-old Jesse Sperry.
His pregnant wife, Rebecca, was seriously injured and was forced to deliver her child shortly after the accident.
