(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a Florida woman who came to Indiana to visit family.
Police said Tracy Scott, 43, traveled from Naples, Fla. and arrived at the Greyhound bus station in downtown Indianapolis Saturday morning. Police said Scott's niece met her at the bus stop around 10 a.m. to bring her food.
Before Scott's niece left the station, Scott told her she would wait for her bus that was scheduled to depart at 3:25 p.m. to Hammond, Ind., where she was meeting other relatives. However, Scott never arrived.
Family members alerted police, telling them Scott had been showing signs of odd behavior.
Scott is described to be approximately 5-feet-7-inches tall and 140 pounds with blonde hair and green eyes. She was wearing a pink Columbia fleece jacket, blue jeans with a hole in the left knee and white tennis shoes. She was also carrying a black and white duffle bag.
If you have any information regarding Scott's whereabouts, please contact police at 317-327-6184.
