(ALLEN CO>) - Police in Allen County seized almost 600 pounds of marijuana from a Fort Wayne home on Tuesday.
Police said one of the many agencies involved in the investigation was running surveillance of the home in the 8000 block of Auburn Road when 550 pounds of marijuana was delivered.
After entering the home, officers found an additional 32 pounds that had been pre-packed for sale, police said.
Two Fort Wayne men -- 49-year-old Luis E. Perez and 23-year-old Alvaro A. Rivera -- were arrested on preliminary charges of dealing marijuana, police said.
The street value of the seized drugs is an estimated $580,000.
