(UNDATED) - An autopsy shows that retired pro wrestler and Indiana native Warrior died of heart disease.
The autopsy was conducted last Thursday in Phoenix, two days after Warrior died at the age of 54 after he collapsed in a parking lot in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The official cause, according to the Maricopa County Medical Examiner's Office was atherosclerotic/arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease, and the office says his death would not be further investigated.
St. Vincent Heart Center's Dr. Ed Fry says Warrior's case is the latest of many in which someone dies of heart disease they may have not known existed.
Fry says it boils down to knowing risk factors, such as family history of premature heart disease.
