(NEW HAVEN) - A ceremony is planned Tuesday to unveil a portion of Indiana’s U.S. 24 that will be named after the longest-serving female representative in state history.
The section from U.S. 24 east of New Haven to the Ohio state line is set to be named the "Phyllis J. Pond Memorial Highway."
Lawmakers voted to name the highway after Pond, who died in September 2013.
