(SHIPSHEWANA) - A seven-year-old northern Indiana boy has died in a farming accident.
LaGrange County Sheriff Terry Martin tells WSBT-TV that the boy has been identified as Kevin Lambright of Shipshewana, east of South Bend.
Authorities say the boy was riding on a makeshift seat on the bucket of a skid loader his father was driving Saturday afternoon when the seat came loose and he tumbled back onto the machine. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Goshen News says the boy was a first grade student at Meadowview Elementary School.
WSBT says the boy's 22-year-old brother also was killed in a car accident last November.
