(INDIANAPOLIS) - The air traffic control tower at the Indianapolis International Airport was briefly evacuated Tuesday morning after smoke was reported.
Airport officials say following the report of smoke, the Airport Fire Department responded to the scene. The tower was evacuated for a short period of time.
Officials say there was no actual fire located. Preliminary information is that an overheated battery caused the smoke.
