(UNDATED) - Now that the temperatures are warming up, we are seeing a lot more building construction, but Hoosier municipalities, including Indianapolis are starting to see a jump in a trend of what are called “mixed use” buildings.
These buildings include apartments or condos for a place to live, offices that provide a work environment, but also stores and restaurants.
David Ray, business manager for IBEW #481 says we've seen a growing trend in the "live, work, play" construction.
