(HANCOCK CO., OH) - A security video of a kindergarten teacher in Ohio reportedly manhandling a young child has parents calling for the teacher’s job.
The video shows Riverdale kindergarten teacher Barb Williams apparently holding six-year-old Ian Nelson against the wall by his neck.
Williams has no past disciplinary issues. She was suspended for ten days without pay.
The boy's father says that's not good enough. He wants the teacher fired.
""Bullying is not ok, whether it's a teacher or a student, there's zero tolerance. A school should be zero tolerance for a teacher bullying a child just the same as a child bullying another child," said Anthony Nelson, the student's father.
The boy's parents are now seeking criminal assault charges against the teacher.
