(SOUTH BEND) - A 13-year-old boy from South Bend, Ind. was arrested Friday after police said he stabbed his brother in the neck using a screwdriver.
The teen suspect was booked into a juvenile detention center under a preliminary charge of battery.
Officers responded to a house in the 100 block of N. Studebaker Street around 9:21 a.m. in reference to a stabbing. When they arrived, they found a 15-year-old boy, who had been stabbed in the back of the neck with a screwdriver.
Authorities quickly located the victim's 13-year-old boy and he was taken into custody. Witnesses told police the brothers were fighting over a piece of clothing when the stabbing occurred.
