(FORT WAYNE) - The countdown begins for work to start on the new Ash Brokerage-Hanning and Bean Development in Ft. Wayne.
At ceremonial ground breaking festivities Thursday, Mayor Tom Henry called the tower, $98 million building - the most significant project in downtown Fort Wayne in the last 30 or 40 years.
The downtown project was also officially titled the "Ash Skyline Plaza." The residential area will take the name Skyline Terrance.
The actual tower construction starts in February with completion set for late 2016.
