(HOWE) - A 130-year-old northern Indiana military school will stay open—-thanks to a significant donation.
Howe Military Academy officials sent a letter to parents and alumni, saying it needed 2-million dollars to keep the doors open.
A 1939 graduate of the school -- 94-year-old Tom Parker donated the money and the Board of Trustees voted Monday to keep the doors for the coming school year.
