(PRINCETON) - A Louisiana man is facing a charge of Voluntary Manslaughter in the shooting death of a Vincennes man in Princeton.
53-year-old Claude Arender of Coushatta, Louisiana told Princeton Police he was trying to break up a fight between his son and 21-year-old Raheim Bright early Friday morning when he hit Bright over the head with a handgun and the weapon went off.
Bright was taken to Gibson General Hospital and then flown to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, where he later died.
