(INDIANAPOLIS) — IUPUI sent out a crime alert on Wednesday after police took a report on a woman who was robbed after leaving a local hospital.
The alert said that around 1 a.m. on Wednesday, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were alerted to a woman who had been robbed after she left Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital.
Police say the woman was unsure of her exact location after she left the hospital, but she thinks it was between the hospital and 700 West Michigan Street. The woman said she was approached by a masked man who pulled her down and stole clothing and cash.
Police say no weapon was seen. The woman complained of pain and was taken to the hospital.
