(SHELLBYVILLE) - A man was sentenced to 25 years in prison after he once bragged about being a drug dealer.
Bert Kenneth Shepard was arrested in November of 2013 after the Shelby County Drug Task Force bought meth from him.
The Shelbyville News reports Shepard plead guilty earlier in the year to two counts of dealing methamphetamine.
A drug raid at a home in 900 block of State Street resulted in the arrest of six other people.
During the raid officers seized 54 grams of meth, worth over $5,000.
Shepard was also arrested for stealing a car, leaving the scene of an accident and being under the influence while operating a vehicle in March.
