(UNDATED) - Hoosier law enforcement is kicking off the 13th annual Cops Cycling for Survivors ride around Indiana today.
They get going at the Statehouse with a departure ceremony this morning (Monday, July 14th) at 8:30 am.
66 cyclists are taking part in this year's ride.
The ride will head east toward Greenfield and on to Richmond in its first leg and will last 13 days and cover nearly one thousand miles across the state.
Cops Cycling for Survivors Foundation President Rich Crawford says - as always - the ride honors fallen police officers and survivors. He says they'll honor recently fallen officers next year.
