(EVANSVILLE) - The West Side Sportsman’s Club will offer the Indiana hunter safety course open to the public.
There is no charge for the course. The course is a minimum 10 hours which covers topics dealing with hunter responsibility, firearms safety, water safety, at laws, archery, muzzleloader hunting handguns, and wildlife management.
The dates for the course will be Saturday, August 9th and Sunday August 10th, 2014 from 8 am till 2 pm. Attendance each day is required for certification.
This course will meet the requirements for hunters born after Dec.31, 1986 that need a certification before they can purchase a hunting license.
The course will be held at the West Side Sportsman's Club which is at 1000 N Peerless Rd Evansville IN 47712. A map will be displayed when you click on the link to sign up for the class.
Please bring writing utensils, refreshments will be served.
Pre-registration is required.
Limit of 35 student for this class.
