Section Of Evansville Evacuated Due To Gas Leak

(EVANSVILLE) - Authorities say a section of Evansville’s north side has been evacuated due to a gas leak.

The Evansville Fire Department tells us construction crews hit a gas line near Old Boonville and Colonial Gardens.

They tell us a radius of a quarter mile has been evacuated.

Vectren crews were on scene working to fix the leak.
