(FORT WAYNE) - Hundreds of thousands are expected to converge on Fort Wayne over the next nine days. They’ll be in town for the 46th annual Three Rivers Festival, a tribute to the communities ties to the waterways.
Officially its one of the largest festivals in the state.
Jack Hammer is the executive director and he says that the mission has remained largely same since its start in 1968.
Some estimates suggest nearly a half-million visitors attend the celebration.
